Gang groups under the guidance of Turkey have surrounded Sheikh Maqsoud (Şêxmeqsud) neighborhood of Aleppo city of West Kurdistan, Rojava, and started random attacks, in response to which YPG (People's Defence Units) forces have immediately returned fire.
The gang groups Al-Nusra and Ahrar Al-Sham, which are being openly supported by Turkish state, and Sultan Murad Battalions which is made up of Turkish gangs have surrounded the YPG-controlled Şêxmexqsud neighborhood of Aleppo in the morning hours.
The armed groups that told the inhabitants to leave the neighborhood until 13.00 threatened to declare the area as military area if they wouldn't.
It is reported that the gangs have started random attacks on mainly Muxaberat street, 20th street, Nebo village and El-Şeqîf area, while on the other hand using heavy weapons in attacks targeting some other areas. YPG forces are reported to have returned fire immediately and with the same intensity.
